About the club
The Coulee Canoe & Kayak Club (CCAKC) is a diverse group of people who love to go canoeing and kayaking! Our mission is to promote canoeing and kayaking, maintain and promote the La Crosse River Water Trail and landings, and have fun! We welcome new members to join us.
The 3.5-mile trail follows the La Crosse River from the Gillette Street landing to Riverside Park and the confluence with the Black and Mississippi Rivers.
CCAKC got started with a club-fostered stewardship grant (secured by Jessie Conaway) from the American Canoe Association (ACA) and L.L. Bean. The grant is intended to encourage paddling clubs to endorse an environmental stewardship ethic for waterways, and to make funds available for the establishment of water trails. The grant dollars were also used for this website, printed materials, signage, and improvements to the put-in site.
• If you need gear, check our Links page for rental information.

• To add your name to our google groups email list, send an email to Brian. We confirm attendance and arrange details through this list, but do not send out an "official" weekly email.
